Nina Kruger

Nina Kruger is a contemporary fibre artist with a BA in Fine Arts from the University of Pretoria and an MA from The Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Art in Poznań, Poland.
Her seven years of experience in the commercial textile industry inform her artistic practice. Drawing inspiration from her surroundings, Kruger incorporates plant, animal, and human-made materials into her work.
She utilizes felting, threading techniques, and mixed media to explore post-humanism and new materialism, highlighting the interconnectedness of all beings. Kruger has exhibited internationally, participating in notable residencies and receiving various accolades for her contributions to the field.
