Jean Brundrit

Jean Brundrit is an artist and educator, specializing in photography at the University of Cape Town's Fine Art Department.

Her work and research primarily focus on environmental issues and identity, with a particular emphasis on the impact of climate change and the relationship between humans and the natural world.

Brundrit's recent projects frequently feature images of the sea, created during her participation in the annual relief voyage to Antarctica aboard the SA Agulhas II. Her extensive exhibition history includes both national and international venues, underscoring her significant contributions to contemporary art.
